A very beautiful garden invites you to linger. Large portions at moderate prices, very nice staff, everything was very familiar. We felt very comfortable and spent a nice afternoon.

Very tasty breakfast. The special feature is that the food is served at the table. Everything is fresh. Very nice atmosphere in a well-kept old building atmosphere. Matching dishes and served on Étagèren. Attentive friendly service. Unfortunately, I only tried the breakfast. About the other food I can not give a judgment. You have to try it yourself.

So we have not experienced, Sunday evening 19.00 clock, previously reserved, wine and food ordered, schnitzel was out, then meatloaf ordered, was out .... then ordered salad .... After half an hour we have experienced, that the salad is also off .... What else can you say ..... This is unfortunately not worth a recommendation .... Too bad

Very old shop with a lot of charm

Twice there (both times for breakfast) - twice flop. At the latest after the first flop visits I would not go back, but the second visit was not my choice. Prices are definitely too high for what you get. On top of that, without exception, all the butter packages that had been expired in a week and the Nutella had already been over three months 😳 !! At home, it may be okay to have something to eat beyond the expiration date, but if you go out to eat / breakfast and get over 16 € per person for breakfast (excluding drinks), you can expect no expired products to be served. 😷 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Small cozy garden, reservations are recommended. From tarte flambée, sausage salad, large salad with chicken and meat pans everything was delicious, even the wines!

A garden full of history, a warm host and good wine!

The garden is beautiful, the dining room is old, the culinary highlight of the menu is Wiener Schnitzel with bread ... Is there not enough bread in the breading? The prices for non-alcoholic beverages are absolutely excessive. Operation forgetful to incompetent.

In the town of Westhofen, Rhineland-Palatinate, surrounded by vineyards and silence, there is a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful garden. Here the owner himself will meet you - the person is extremely hospitable, and will offer you an excellent selection of wine. Great snacks and main courses complement the pleasure. Fun, interesting, welcoming. I highly recommend trying prawns and of course Vienna schnitzel. The restaurant is also open on Mondays, a rarity for Germany and a lot of luck for travelers. Highly recommend this place to visit! By the way, the owner of this beautiful place is also a respected professor of economics known outside of Germany !!!

Very nice place, warm welcome, simple but good food and really great wines! Have to come back some days. Aug 2016: came back this year on our way home. Still the same excellent experience. Warmly recommended !

Super beautiful Mediterranean garden with very nice service and delicious food. The guest rooms with a very special atmosphere also invite you to sit comfortably. We will be back.
